Carbonkiller has its own Advisory Council, consisting of independent experts. They welcome a public debate about emissions trading and the European Emissions Trading System. The members of the council can provide advice about the Carbonkiller campaign and recent developments related to the trade in carbon permits both upon request and unsolicited. They are fully independent and therefore do not by definition support all communication and activities related to the campaign.
Why an Advisory Council?
- Quality guarantee; To guarantee a correct representation of content and facts throughout the campaign, Carbonkiller likes to use the knowledge and experience of experts in the field.
- Reinforcement of the organisation, network and activities; Carbonkiller believes the members of the Advisory Council can further the critical debate on the subject matter.
- Transparency and legitimation; WISE, initiator of Carbonkiller, does not have any financial interest in the campaign. Documentation can be handed over to the Advisory Council upon request.
The members take a seat in the Advisory Council in their individual capacity and they are selected based on their expert knowledge and professional background.
